Application of RS485 to Ethernet Serial Servers in Elevator Monitoring and Transmission

IV. Specific Implementation Scheme

To implement the application of RS485 to Ethernet serial servers in elevator monitoring, the following steps can be taken:

1. Install a serial server in the elevator control cabinet to convert the RS-485 serial signal from the elevator controller into an Ethernet signal.

2. Connect the serial server to the Ethernet and establish a connection with the server in the monitoring center.

3. Install corresponding monitoring software on the server in the monitoring center to receive, analyze, and process elevator monitoring data.

4. Through the monitoring software, real-time monitoring, remote control, fault diagnosis, and other functions of the elevator can be achieved.
