RS485 to 4G The Best Scheme of Temperature and Humidity Sensor Networking Based on Modbus Protocol

Abstract: This paper will discuss the best scheme to connect the temperature and humidity sensor based on Modbus protocol with RS485 interface to 4G network.We will analyze the sensor network architecture, data transmission protocol, data conversion and transparent transmission technology.And how to select the appropriate hardware devices to ensure real-time, accurate and efficient transmission of sensor data.

With the rapid development of industrial Internet of Things, temperature and humidity sensors are more and more widely used in intelligent environmental monitoring.These sensors usually communicate with Modbus protocol through RS485 interface to realize real-time monitoring of environmental parameters.However, for remote monitoring and data sharing, we need to connect these sensors to the 4G network.This article will elaborate on the best way to achieve this goal.

Sensor network architecture

First, we need to build a stable and reliable sensor network architecture.In this architecture, the temperature and humidity sensor is connected to the data acquisition equipment (such as DTU) through the RS485 interface.The data acquisition device sends the data to the remote server through the 4G network.This architecture enables remote transmission and centralized management of sensor data.
